Yes. If a third-party user wants to create a new user account linked to entity account, the account creation will be handled through an invitation-based process by third party Admin.

To access the download, we’ll send you a notification with a secure link. For security purposes, we'll send you an OTP (One-Time Password) by SMS. Once you enter the OTP in the provided field, you’ll be able to download your data. This helps ensure that only authorized users can access the content.

Yes. For certain vehicle models, a system is provided that allows individuals who request data to access only their own driving data. This is based on the last user who was logged into MyNISSAN before the vehicle engine was turned off.

As third party you need formal agreement from the Data Owner (user or driver of the vehicle), then you need to gather this consent authorisation using the system: an email requesting the authorization will be sent by the system to the Data Owner requesting the consent validation for the data sharing. There will be 3 reminders sent but if there's no validation within 14 days, the consent will not be granted. The data sharing will be possible only after receiving the explicit consent of the Data Owner.

Depending on your request type, the portal supports programmatic access (Pull API, Webhook) and file download via portal.
Available options will be shown during the request process.

Depending on the selected delivery method, you may do the following:
Programmatic access: Refer to Developer Documents for detailed integration instructions.
File download via portal: Download structured files and import them into your analytics or business tools.

Once you have submitted the request, Nissan shall handle your request without undue delay. Typically, the download will start automatically a few minutes after your request for a standard 7-day historical data request. In cases where the period is longer or the data is massive, you'll receive a notification by email when the data is ready (could be up to 4 hours). 

We're going to provide you with the data available at the time of processing. Depending on the vehicle and the connected services generation, it would be a few hours or a few seconds, but delays may occur due to communication issues. If that happens, the data will usually be available when the communication resumes.

There are several reasons why you may not have received data in response to your request. To protect your privacy and ensure the accuracy of information, we verify that the requestor matches the driver during the selected timeframe. Please review the following possible reasons:

Timeframe or usage issue:
The selected timeframe doesn’t align with your period of ownership or usage.
The vehicle was not driven during the requested period.The vehicle was in Privacy Mode, so no data was transmitted.
The vehicle was in an area with poor cellular reception, so data may not have been recorded.

Driver profile issue:
If the vehicle was shared and the engine was not turned off between drivers, the data is linked to the last user registered in the system before engine was switched off.
If a different driver profile was selected while driving the vehicle, data will be attributed to that profile.

Vehicle pairing & account issues:
The email address used in the request doesn’t match the one linked to your MyNISSAN app account.
Connected Services were not activated or the vehicle was not paired with your MyNISSAN account during the requested period.
Your MyNISSAN account has been deleted—data associated with it is no longer available.
If your vehicle was re-paired to the same account, data from the first pairing may no longer be accessible.

Vehicle eligibility issue:
The VIN entered was incorrect. Please check again and submit a new request.
Your vehicle is not supported since it is a legacy model or imported vehicle.
Connected Services for your vehicle may have expired. Please check the list of eligible vehicles.
The specific data requested is not supported for your vehicle (high-voltage battery data for a non-electric vehicle, for example).

Country restriction issue:
Your MyNISSAN account was created in a country outside the European zone of eligible countries.

Timing issue:
Data is updated in a few hours or in seconds depending of the vehicle and generation of connected services.

Yes. On My Nissan Data Portal, users can navigate to My Shared Data page, select the target consent and withdraw it.

MFA adds an additional security layer to protect your personal vehicle data, and business-sensitive data by preventing unauthorized access to your account.

Click https://mynissandata.com/mfa-recovery, then follow the on-screen instructions to recover your account's MFA access.

Please check the network connection and ensure you entered the correct phone number when setting up OTP. If those are fine but you still haven't received the one-time password (OTP) after 5-10 minutes, please contact our MyNISSANdata Team.

The download link is only valid for 7 days. If the link has expired, please submit a new request. If the link doesn’t work but has not yet expired, please contact our MyNISSANdata Team.

Please review the API documentation, verify credentials, authentication tokens, and endpoint URLs, and check your firewall or network configuration. If the issue continues, please contact the MyNISSANdata Team and submit your inquiry.

You can download some of the data your connected vehicle generates including your trip data, geolocation, odometer, vehicle autonomy, and vehicle information.

You can request access to 3 types of data: 

1/ Historical data: you can choose freely the period between 12/09/2025 (start of the regulation) and the date of request. Maximum period of coverage is 12 months, but you can make several requests covering different periods. The connected data will be kept for a maximum of 3 years.
This historical data will not be available at launch for the following vehicles: 

• Nissan TOWNSTAR – from September 2022
• Nissan PRIMASTAR – from November 2023
• Nissan INTERSTAR – from November 2025
• Nissan MICRA – from September 2025

2/ Last known data: request the latest available data available in the system

3/ Subscribe to monthly or weekly data sent directly to you

Nissan retains connected vehicle data for a limited time, as outlined in the MyNISSAN Terms and Conditions (see Section 4.8 – Storage Period). You can request a copy of your connected vehicle data as long as the timeframe requested is within the retention period and no earlier than 12th September 2025 (the date on which the EU Data Act comes into effect).

Your data is displayed in a table with several columns:

- The first column shows the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- The second column shows the date and time (timestamp)
- The third column shows your User ID
- The rest of the columns show different types of data and their values collected from your vehicle

Data is accurate as of the time it was collected and compiled into the downloadable file.

Some data like alerts or warnings are only recorded when specific conditions are met. In areas with weak signals such as tunnels, sensors may miss data or collect the same data more than once. Not all data is guaranteed to be recorded accurately every time.

The data is shared exactly as it is collected. However, sensor accuracy might be affected in tunnels or areas with poor signal. As a result, the collected data may occasionally appear unusual or incorrect. Some limitations concerning the data can be found in the Data Dictionary.

The timing of data collection varies depending on the sensors, and so not all data will appear in the same row and may differ between categories. Some features and data points are only available on specific vehicle models.

Due to the data specifications, values such as timestamps and some data items may be generated as zero.

However, these data are not usable, so please refrain from utilizing them.

The Timestamp in the data is in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, which is similar to GMT - Greenwich Meridian Time).

The location data is recorded only when the user grants permission through the Navigation system. The selection of the Privacy Mode will stop any storage of vehicle location data. You can always choose to stop the data sharing (Privacy Mode): At each ignition, the car will ask the driver to allow data sharing. Simply press 'Decline' and your data will not be shared with your MyNISSAN App.

You can also stop sharing data on your infotainment at any time by going to:

- Settings >
- MyNISSAN >
- Privacy Mode Setting >
- Decline.

This will then stop your MyNISSAN App from receiving any data.

It is free for the Private vehicle user/owner that can download the data concerning his/her own vehicle. Third parties can request to access the data - with the consent of the vehicle user/owner - but there is a cost per data package, which is taking into account the cost for giving access to data.

Your invoices are available in the Billing section of your account.

The service is intended to be simple and at contained costs for third parties having a limited number of requests or for less than 100 vehicles. If you have other needs, you can move your account to the Enterprise solution which provides other methods of payment like Direct Debit or Bank transfer.

All the data download or access are based on pre-payment, so you've likely received an email that the payment could not be done with your credit card: it may have expired or been cancelled. In that case, you just need to provide another credit card for payment in your account and your data provision will be resumed.
