Does the Leaf support bi-directional charging?

LEAF will be V2X (Vehicle-to-everything) ready, unlocking even more possibilities for energy sharing and smart mobility. The timeline for full implementation will be announced at a later date. 

Until then, the Nissan LEAF already supports V2L (Vehicle-to-Load), allowing you to power external devices like tools and appliances up to 3.6 kW (3.1 kW for UK) — or even provide emergency electricity during outages.
